After Shocks!!!

The terror attacks are behind us but the political circus continues.....

1) RR Patil comments that such small incidents happens in big cities...the clown must have been watching Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge non-stop last week...nothing else will induce a man to say such a tacky dialogue out of that tacky film in context of an attack which has left the nation traumatised. Mr. Patil, wake up, there are more important things that a Dy. Chief Minister should be doing other than depriving hardworking bar girls of a livelihood and making such crass statements.

2) Moshe turns two, his grand parents and other relatives wants the Israeli government to issue a visa for the nanny who saved him, so that she can enter Israel, all of a sudden Israel is safer that India...

3) The Rat who also doubles up as our Chief Minister steps out of his house on Sunday for a picnic at the Taj with his actor son and Ram Gopal Verma in tow. Ram Gopal Verma, known for making "realistic" films no doubt joined in to collect "inputs" (sic) for his next film. Ritiesh Deshmukh(I hope this is how he spells his name, dont want to get numerology wrong) tagged along no doubt hoping for leading role (sic) in the film. If Mr. Verma makes the film and it turns out something on the lines of "RGV ki Aag" or whatever crap the name of the Sholay remake he made and names it something like "RGV ka Taj" all of India will want to turn fidayeen for a change and want to strangle him with our bare hands!!!

4) Kerala Chief Minister waltz into Bangalore to offer condolences at Slain NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan residence, hoping for some free publicity. The brave Major's even braver father refuses to accept the condolences and ejected the former out of his house with a firm statement that no politican should enter his house. According to a TV report he told the Chief Minister "Get out of my house, you dogs". Hats off to you sir!!!

  2. sen - Really hats off to the brave father of brave Major Sandeep..

don't know why but these days I constantly remember the movie "Rang De Basanti" That is what we need.. a hard slap on the faces of these corrupt and shameless politicians.. so that others can also learn a lesson.

  5. to all here: agree to Sen's words except for the last point. Yes, its true that Govt of Kerala is to be blamed for not attenting the funeral. but that does not justify the action of the major's dad. A person joins army and the first oath he takes is that he would die for his country if needed. Being the father of an NSG commando, Mr.Unnikrishnan should have reacted in much more civilised way. Calling a CM or any other minister "dog" in front of the media is NO heroism. Be real.

I am not forgetting the fact that Mr.unnikrishnan lost his only son and is in a state of grieve. But CM of Kerala was definitely not responsible for his son's death. For him, coming there and giving his condolences was part of his duty, of what is expected of him, even if it is a formality. If he hadn't done the same, that would have become another issue.Whatever might be the reason, abusing somebody is not a way to vent out your anger or frustration.

For the controvercial statement that he is said to make : "Even a dog would not have glanced at that house had it not been Sandeep’s residence". Every media has published this remark, but how many media has took the pain to publish the question that was asked to him for which he gave this answer?

Qns] When informed about your arrival, Mr.Unnikrishnan reacted saying that "No Dogs Should Come here.. i dont want to see them" how do u react
In the answer the word dog was included since it was there is the qns. And help me understand this. He said Even a dog would not have glanced at that house had it not been Sandeep’s residence. That means that everyone visited because this is Sandeep's house. Now, how did he insult Sandeep? he said Sandeep is imp and hence everyone is visiting his funeral. in which angle does it sound like an insult to Sandeep?

  6. @ Sen - Nice post. It would be great if a revolution is started through this and throw this bunch of clowns.

@ Sawan - I would never blame Mr. Unnikrishnan's action.
I think you have missed out the context, bcoz of which Mr. Unnikrishnan had to remark.
    1. Being the native CM of the slain soldier he didn't attend the funeral.
    2. Sending sniffer dogs before his arrival to the house of mourning.

  7. sawan - I definitely understand your point but don’t agree with it... CM might not be responsible directly for Sandeep's death, but what about the filthy politics, corruption, lousy policies and the absence of the sense of responsibilities? Politicians are very much responsible for it and I am not trying to blame them for every problem in this world, but this is how we feel when they try to take political advantage of horrifying incidents like communal riots, bomb blasts etc.. tell me how do you feel when they sell the country for filling their own homes with cash.. even if its matter of the security of country..

There are countless scams in defense and it’s a known fact that most of the times, terrorists are equipped with better weapons than our police and armed forces.. Though I don’t have the link handy but I was reading some where after the Mumbai incident, that the bulletproof jackets used by our forces were not good enough to cope with the advanced weapons terrorists had.. so isn’t it a failure of system that after spending millions of bucks, we end up with buying an ancient technology.. just because some corrupt politician got more commission on that deal..

And yes, every army officer take an oath to die for the country but that does not mean that his life is cheap enough that it can be compromised for reasons like above.. so to some extent the frustration of Sandeep’s father was valid enough.. just my opinion though !

  9. I am very much tired on speaking about these politicians.. they are not going change anyway.. nothing will pass into their deaf ears.. except the words like power, vote, MLA, minister, MP like that..
What we can do is let check what are all the things that we will be able to change.. I think that will be better option..

  11. @ Scrawler...yes agree with you...we are surrounded by such people...but we have no control over them...let us try to concentrate on the controllables instead...

  12. @ ST...yes that is what is needed at the moment...how about "One tight Slap" as the name of the movement you want to start...

  13. @ Karthik...your wish has come true... he has been sent home...further he won't be canvassing anytime soon...so the chappal incident will have to wait...but I am sure there are many who want to do the honors just now...

  14. @ sawan...I disagree...when Narendra Modi was snubbed by Hemant Karkare's family he maintained a dignified silence and went back to his state, he no doubt understood the gravity of the situation and the intense emotions that the family was going through...in the same way the Kerala CM should not gone to Blore when the slain Major's father had specifically asked him not to come. Every man has a right to choose who he entertains in his house, if inspite of that someone comes its tresspass and the home owner has the right to act as he chooses...This analogy can apply to our country as well...as a nation we believe "Athiti Devo bhava" but if the guest does not behave himself and chooses to disgrace himself and our land by his acts we will not tolerate it...
