Trek to Chinchoti Falls

Reminiscing on the trek to Chinchoti Falls... amazing place... we took a train to Naigoan which is the closest station ... then an auto to the base of the hills... an hours walk brought us to the falls... enroute we had to dodge crabs .. myriad insects who seemed to have been starving... and just pounced on us ...yours truly being the favourite ... by the time we reached the falls most of us were sore from the many mosquito bites and aching thanks to the many falls ( no pun intended)... but the minute we saw the falls all the complaints were forgotten... it seemed like heaven on earth... right in the heart of the jungle ... a place so serene so beautiful... its almost like god did not want to spoil the beauty hence made the access to the falls so difficult... there is a pool at the base of the falls... we spent a couple of hours there and then reluctantly made our way back to civilization...
